G'day I'm looking for info (especially websites) on an aquarium that is
sold as a unit, with built-in filter in the hood, three fluro lights, a
light timer, and a quality cabinet. The tanks come in 3, 4 and 5 foot
lengths, are made of glass and have rounded corners. Cost is $955 (Aussie
dollars), and they look absolutely excellent; but I've never seen them
before, so am curious. The guy in the shop said they are made by Aquapro,
but I can't get any results from Google or other searches. Any help much
appreciated. >> Stay informed about: Aquarium manufacturer question |

high mate, I'm in Australia, nice to hear from another aussie on this
group!! what city are you in? I am in Brisbane, and I find the best place to
get an aquarium is at Aquariums R US in woolowin, Brisbane, they are
basically wholesalers, so you get them at almost wholesale prices. obviously
if you are in bris that won't be much good!
do you have any experience with freshwater natives like Aus. Bass or
mangrove jack? >> Stay informed about: Aquarium manufacturer question |

I'm in the hills behind Coffs Harbour.
When I first started looking at Fish news groups, I looked for "Aus
Aquaria" We in Oz
have no Aquaria news groups.. Would people patronise them if we had them..
While I have no idea how one starts a news group, my server is always
asking me if I
want to view the new groups,
We would also need people that could advice on technical things , But I
expect people
that write for the Alt and Rec groups would participate.
Anyone in OZ care to comment,, bassett

I have no idea how you go about it, but I'm fairly sure you need a specific
numer of people to support the request for a new newsgroup. And of course
sufficient ambition to see the project through to its conclusion. If you
have the latter, I am certainly willing to be one of the numbers required.
Good luck.
Also I tried that fishshop you recommended. Expensivo !!!! Lots of fish
and a huge range of accessories, but the prices are really high and I saw
dead fish in a number of tanks. >> Stay informed about: Aquarium manufacturer question |
