I just set up a 4 plus in my 38gal tank and I'm impressed. If you don't set the airflow control too high the filter is very quiet. I set the flow control to it's lowest setting and it still seems to be moving a lot of water. It looks like maintenance will be a breeze compared to my 204 cannister filter. I'm letting it run with my cannister for the time being till the filter gets a good bacteria culture started.
