Set up a 15gall tank, heavily planted using water, substrate and some filter
medium from another tank....have 3 clowns and 6 Neons settling in.....Clowns
are a bit shy (but that's OK it's all new for them) but have been dancing
:-)

The Neons were the LFS idea to help settle the Clowns - was going to get
some anyway but hadn't been sure about doing it today.....

Close monitoring for next 2-3 weeks before the Clowns move to the Community
Tank.....

It is just so great to see these fish dancing again in one of my tanks
:-))))

Clowns dancing - Just wanted to share with everyone the sheer joy of my Clowns tonight....I've been keeping a strict light out policy during the day to reduce tank temps (it's done wonders with the algae - good side-effect). I turn the lights on around 30 minutes before....

Clowns + Tetras = Clowns? - I'm currently quarantining some Clowns, Tetras and Yoyos for a couple of other tanks. I haven't been feeding them much, as they have some Ammonia issues, despite seeding the filter from another tank. So I go to feed them today and 5 of the Tetras are....

Ooh, I *like* clowns :-) - I put three clown loaches into my tank yesterday. Granted, the snail problem wasn't a major one - but there's not a snail to be seen now! Those critters are *efficient* LOL And they are such characters - I can really see why people get hooked on them...

How big do Clowns really get? - I've always avoided getting Clown Loaches, as I've only got a 55 gallon for my Tropical tank. I'll be upgrading to a 90 gallon soon, so I thought I would add some Clowns to the group. Current inhabitants are: 4 Tiger Barbs 4 Rosy Barbs 2 SAES 3 Yoyo....

Kuhlis & clowns together? - Any problems w/ mixing loaches in a community tank? Small clowns ok w/ Kuhli's? Will larger weather-type loaches cohabit ok w/ smaller kuhlis? TIA -- Jim
